Supervision & Teaching

I am currently accepting new PhD students. I welcome applicants drawn to research at the intersection of gender, social policy, and political representation. Students interested in developing strong quantitative training alongside substantive expertise will find a good fit here. I work primarily with quantitative and causal-inference methods: panel data, survey and field experiments, and original data collection.

Funding and how to apply

PhD funding is typically secured through competitive Spanish schemes (FPI, FPU, FI) or through project-specific funding. If you are interested in working with me, please email me directly with your CV, a brief statement of research interests and how they connect to my work, and a writing sample.

I am also Director of the Master’s Programme in Political Science at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and teach courses on research methods and applied statistics at the upper undergraduate and MA levels – the Master’s program is one route into a PhD with me for students who want to build up quantitative training first.
